Surfrider Foundation Europe is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting our oceans, waves and coastlines.
Created in Europe in 1990 by the 3 time World Surfing Champion Tom Curren, today it brings together more than 4 000 members and is represented by local chapters across France and Europe.
Surfrider Foundation Europe unites among its members people from all backgrounds, a common passion for the protection of the oceans and the coastlines.
OBJECTIVES
* Fight against the pollution of our oceans: Oil slicks, chemical dumping, floating wastes, bacteriological pollution...
* Provide better information to the public concerning water quality, regulations, and the risks of pollution.
* Improve the awareness of our youth: it is important that the decision makers of tomorrow understand the importance of protecting our oceans.
